On Saturday, June 15th 2019, FLAG Galeb was one of the exhibitors at the gastronomic event Fešta Days at the Restaurant Fešta on the island of Zut, whose main topic was Blue fish and deep sea fish in top gastronomy.
During this event, the FLAG Galeb employees, in communication with the guests of this event, presented the association and projects: Fishermen Recommend and SEA-stainability which in its core combine two sectors: fisheries and gastronomy.
This gastronomic event is specific due to the fact that the concept of "Zero waste" was used in preparing dishes and "Zero plastic" was used for serving dishes.
The event was prepared by the top Croatian and foreign chefs: Zoran Jajac, Hrvoje Zirojević, David Skoko, Josip Vrsaljko, Damnjean Draganić, Stefano Deidda, Vinod Sookar, Danilo Bei, Herbert Hintner and Domenico Schingaro.
Except for gastronomic creations, the event was enriched with the exhibition and members of the Latinsko idro association, scientists for marine biology and fisheries: dr.sc. Martina Markov and Ph.D. Lav Bavčević. Interesting exposition of Kornati archaeological sites was exhibited by Katarina Batur.
